Here you can rediscover the ancient tastes of the Langa

It is the region that hosts the village of Cigliè, clinging to the rocks of the Monregalese hills and dominated by its castle since the X century, which was built in a strategic position to control the Mondovì valley, shaped by the river Tanaro.
Cigliè, with its houses and historical buildings, has developed over a steep hill, all around "Osteria al Castello", which is located at the foot of the castle, in the main street, to welcome the lovers of the true and typical Piedmontese cuisine.


The osteria, characterized by its special cuisine, friendliness and warmth, is run by Grazia David and Paolo Aimo, who in 1996 chose Cigliè as the ideal place to propose their culinary philosophy. Their experience in Mondovi Breo, the training and the seminars with famous chefs encouraged them to rediscover "dishes from the past", with its ancient tastes. From starters to dessert, through pasta and meat courses: everything is prepared following ancient recipes and using traditional and natural methods.
